The Secrets to Adulting

 Lifelong wellness is an interdependent process that uses multiple perspectives including physical, mental, and social well-being that extend beyond the traditional definition of health. It includes choices and activities aimed at achieving physical vitality, mental clarity, social satisfaction, a sense of accomplishment, and personal fulfillment.

This course will focus on maintaining key dimensions of well-being. Academic, professional, financial, social and personal (physical and emotional). Each section will focus on a key practice in maintaining well-being and include virtual exercises and online discussions.

Dimetrieze Walker

Dimetrieze Walker is a business professional with a background in organizational studies and personal development. Dimetrieze is a first generation college graduate from Western Washington University. In his time at Western he started Happy club, a group focused on addressing health and wellness on campus. He worked with the Black Excellence Conference to connect Washington State Black college students. In his role as a Changemaker Fellow he partnered with faculty and staff to create a peer education model to address mental health. He currently works for T-Mobile and is an active member in his community.
