From setting up a lemonade stand to the creation of the iPhone, this introductory course will help you understand how to run your own business. With your ideas, we’ll explore the set-up stage: the types of businesses available and why someone would choose one over the other. If you already have a business, we’ll learn some of the legal aspects such as copyright, trademarking, patenting and franchising and why owning your ideas is so important. Target audience is 6th – 12th graders.
